The competition at lunch has gone on for almost two weeks, starting with about 120- 150 couples they are down to 25 with two days of cuts to go.Not a lot of noon rides for me right now- this is way more fun to watch!

swing dance in middle school? wow!
I wish I knew how to do that. Wanted to take dance lessons with the wifeage sometime ago and she shot me down. Going by myself seems a bit creepy.
Hi Panda, yes it is the Little C spinning and hopping away.
Lauren- the 7th and 8th grade do swing dance, the sixth does square.
They started with 232 couples and are now in the finals with 15 other couples.
The finals are Friday night- it will be happening!

Definitely on my list when I retire is to get a few steps down pat. I'm kind of like a crazed wildebeest right now, lot's of enthusiasm but little direction.
Friday Morning update- kids are nervous but look more and more polished and dynamic in their dancing.
Just too cool.
