This is why we do it........

This little morsel coming up next weekend.

I will eat enough.

I will spin the little gears.

I will stay below LT in the first 2 climbs.

And I'm gonna take tons of picx.

Cause the views at the top of these climbs are awesome!

Which route are you doing? The grand daddy or one of those shorter versions? Either way, good luck and keep spinning.

Eff salad. I ain't eatin no Gawd Damn salad before I spend 8 hours in the saddle. Home boy needs sustenance (and wine).

Carbo loading = several days of low carb, then a day and a half of good quality carbs. The body will super compensate and absorb extra into the muscles. Body builders use this technique to plump up the muscle before competition.

Plump.

I'm all about the plump.

singlespeed?

Full Siss Setup= compact with 25 tooth cog.

I rode most of the climbs last year while we were up camping with a 39x25, but they are fairly sustained and I'm just cruising around anyway.
The singlespeed is beautiful, though.
And they have a hillclimb with a single division in SEptember with Nomes name all over it......
